On March 17, 2010, Tokaj Kereskedőház Zrt. took the pride of Hungary to the table of EP members. |
 Over the course of the tasting over 300 guests were invited to the central building of the European Parliament. Timing may be considered excellent, since the Tokaj trademark dispute has reached a defining point. The wine tasting show provided an opportunity to introduce our Tokaj Wine Region and wines and to remind members of the Agricultural Committee of the dangers of an escalating trademark dispute.
The wines were introduced to the public by Dr. Ernő Botos, then tasting continued informally. There was great rejoicing when following the relaxing tasting, in addition to complimentary congratulations, words of encouragement were also uttered. |
